Cake Walk Fundraiser was a huge success raising $4900, and providing a great way for us to come together as a community. Kids, young and old, had a great time.
A big thank you to Grandmother Helen Robinson Settee and the many helpers who worked hard to make this happen. Shout outs go to the Bear Clan Patrol for keeping people safe on the way to and from vehicles, Double the Trouble for great entertainment, Leigha for the dance tunes, the Neeginan Centre for parking, Thunderbird House for a discount on the rental, JDM Designs & Grandmother Helen for providing our door prizes and Chief Kevin Hart for buying 50 support tickets.
Salisbury House, Tall Grass Prairie and the Lila Bakery donated cakes along with Bobby Jo, Lalita, Stephanie, Wanbdi, Grandmother Mary Scott, Tara, Bernadette Smith and Ashok Athavale.
“It was another amazing year for the Cake Walk, we didn’t win this year but enjoyed all the fun and laughter, My sister Kim and I want to thank the person who bought us 2 spots to try to win a cake, Miigwetch for your kindness!!” Much Love, Gerri-Lee McPherson-Pangman.
